Be Kind To Animals Week

Once again, the Third Lutheran Church in Rhinebeck will be honoring “Be Kind to Animals Week”. For a 110 years Americans have been celebrating “Be Kind to Animals Week”, the oldest commemorative week in US history. Started by AMERICAN*HUMANE to honor the human-animal bond, Americans mark this May celebration with many loving events.
The “Pet Remembrance Tree” will be in place and tributes to loving pets who have passed can be displayed. Added to our exhibitor roster will be a special 4-H Pet Club area. Here the community can meet the 4-H members, interact with their chosen companion animals and learn more about this wonderful organization.
