Just as we’re starting to embrace the bright colors of spring, there’s a hint of excitement in the air for a historic occasion that has grown to be a beloved tradition for locals, enthusiasts and artists alike. Field+Supply, a contemporary take on the classic arts-and-crafts fair, is getting ready to mark a decade in the scenic Hutton Brickyards in Kingston, NY, from May 31 to June 2.
Field+Supply was founded in 2014 by acclaimed designer Brad Ford, who says he wanted to highlight the finest in artisanship, design and craftsmanship in a space that paid tribute to the Hudson Valley’s diverse cultural heritage. This festival has grown over the years to become a shining example of artistic and community spirit, well beyond its original goals.
“As the founder of Field+Supply, I envisioned a gathering that celebrates craftsmanship, creativity and community,” Ford says. “Our event isn’t just about showcasing exquisite pieces, it’s about fostering connections, inspiring innovation and honoring the timeless artistry that defines our modern makers. Field+ Supply is more than an event; it’s a testament to the enduring spirit of craftsmanship and the beauty of bringing people together to appreciate the handmade and the heartfelt.”
The Spring MRKT is expected to be a magnificent celebration of the journey thus far. The fair, which will feature nearly 275 vendors, will showcase a diverse range of products, including well-crafted furniture, eye-catching home décor, custom jewelry and handcrafted cuisine. Each piece embodies the values of Field+Supply by telling a tale of passion, expertise and dedication.
The weekend following Memorial Day is the date of this year’s Spring MRKT, allowing participants to fully engage with Field+Supply. Visitors can peruse the wares of merchants, take in the lively atmosphere created by live music, indulge in locally sourced food that perfectly captures the essence of the region’s culinary expertise, and participate in exciting and special events from 10am-6pm.
Mark your calendars, people! May 31 through June 2 are the dates to participate in a narrative that keeps growing with every stitch, carving and brushstroke. The tenth anniversary of Field+Supply represents more than a celebration; it’s a turning point in a journey that honors the value of community and fine craftsmanship.
