Spring and Summer 2025: A Season to Remember
The 2025 season, thoughtfully crafted by former Artistic Director Elena Siyanko and the PS21 team, promises an eclectic mix of performances that will resonate with audiences who appreciate creativity and cultural depth. Highlights include:
- Hatched Ensemble by South African choreographer Mamela Nyamza (May 30-31), reimagining classical dance with raw, socially charged movement.
- The Next Festival of Emerging Artists featuring Kronos Quartet (June 6-12), blending fresh talent with legendary musicians in a residency that culminates in world premieres and innovative collaborations.
- Las Guaracheras (June 28), an all-female salsa sextet from Cali, Colombia, bringing vibrant Afro-Latin rhythms to the PS21 stage.
