The famous comedian and former host of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, Jon
Stewart, will be performing at the Bardavon, 25 Market St., Poughkeepsie, on March 1-2
at 7:30 p.m. A unique blend of humor and brilliant insight, these special performances
offers fans a terrific opportunity to see the superstar live.

Recently, Stewart returned to hosting The Daily Show on Mondays, bringing his razor-
sharp wit and satirical take on today’s news back to television and with it, the highest
ratings for the program in more than half-a-decade. Stewart’s 16-year run on The Daily
Show had a massive impact on the American political landscape and this election year
should prove to be no different.

Stewart’s also been an outspoken advocate for humanitarian causes, most notably the
rights and health benefits of 9/11 veterans and first responders. He was awarded the
New York City Bronze Medallion for his commitment to the cause in 2019 after his
efforts helped to permanently authorize the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund.
Stewart was also instrumental in the Honoring Our Pact Act, which boosted funding and
access to healthcare for veterans who had been exposed to toxins.

Apart from his advocacy work, Stewart has maintained his reputation in the
entertainment sector as the host and executive producer of Apple TV+’s The Problem
with Jon Stewart. He’s also an executive producer on CBS’s The Late Show with
Stephen Colbert and the author of several best-selling novels.

For $61, $81 and $101, you can get tickets for Jon Stewart’s show at the Bardavon.
Fans can purchase tickets at the UPAC box office at 601 Broadway in Kingston, or at
