The exhibition features Marr’s dynamic landscape paintings exploring water, movement, and the interconnected rhythms of the natural world, from ocean waves to the Hudson River. NEAR and FAR opens with a public reception on Saturday, April 18, from 6:00 - Rockwell called his Stockbridge studio, his “best studio yet.” The building was originally located in the backyard of his home on South Street in Stockbridge, Mass. In 1976, toward the end of his life, Rockwell left the studio and its contents to Norman Rockwell Museum. The building was cut in two and moved to the MASS MoCA presents "Spatial Poems", a communal exhibition in three concurrent parts.
